James (Jim) Reitzer, 79, of Andrews passed away Sunday
April 8, 2007 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at Northcrest Baptist Church in
Andrews.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Hillcrest Baptist Church in
Uvalde, Texas
Jim was born May 21, 1927 in Hondo, Texas.
He married Wanda Beckwith, June 28, 1986 in Uvalde, Texas. They moved to Andrews
in 1992 from Uvalde.
Jim worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed firshing, Traveling and
listening to Fiddle Music.
Jim is survived by: Wife - Wanda Reitzer of Andrews; Sister - Ethel Hawkins of
Uvalde; Step-daughter - Lynne Johnson of Amarillo, Texas; Mother-in-law -
Dorothy Skidmore of Andrews; Sisters-in-law - Shirley Loyd and Carol Bishop both
of Andrews. Brother-in-law - Jack Beckwith of Odessa.
JOE C. RICH
January 1, 2006
Joe Rich, 72, of Odessa passed away Sunday January 1, 2006 at Medical Center
Hospital in Odessa.
Funeral Services will 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home
Chapel in Andrews. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery.
Joe was born April 5, 1933 in Comanche County, Texashe moved to Andrews in 1954
from De Leon, Texas. He married Vera Orndoff of Andrews on July 19, 1957 in
Andrews. They Moved to Odessa in 1993 from Andrews. Joe was a Driller for
several drilling companies over the years. He loved to work on his Van and he
liked making things. He also enjoyed working in his yard. He was preceded in
death by his Son Edmund Rich in August 2005.
He is survived by: Wife - Vera Rich of Odessa; Two Daughters - Vickie Rich and
Donna Rich-Gregory, both of Odessa; Two Brothers - Marvin Rich of Goreman, Texas
and Bill Rich of South Texas; Two Sisters Dorothy Barron of Andrews and Jewel
Whitely of Dublin, Texas; 2 Grandchildren and 2-Great-Grandchildren.
PATRICIO M. RIOS

Memorial services for Patricio M. Rios, 69, of Andrews will be 3:00 PM Tuesday,
July 25, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Owen Sugg of Andrews
officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
He passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the Home Hospice House in Odessa.
He was born on December 10, 1936 in Shafter, Texas to Manuel Rios and Concepcion
Miranda Rios. He married Maria Elena Sanchez on June 11, 1960 in Odessa. They
moved to Andrews in 1977 from Odessa. He worked for Kirby West Manufacturing in
Andrews as a die cast foreman from 1974-2000. He enjoyed spending time with his
family, camping, fishing, his truck, and his dog "Penny". He was preceded in
death by his parents and 1 brother: Ruben Sanchez in 1979.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Rios of Andrews; 2 sons: Patrick Rios and wife
Vivian of Andrews and Raymond Rios and wife Dee Anna of Frisco; 2 daughters:
Carolyn Sena of Plano and Adela Silver and husband Eric of Nashville, Tennessee;
2 brothers: Robert Rios and Joe Miranda of Odessa; 2 sisters: Juanita Ramirez of
Midland and Victoria Jackson of Odessa; and 7 grandchildren.

EDWARD 'PETE' ROBERTS
June 20, 2006
Pete Roberts, 81 of Andrews passed away Tuesday June 20, 2006 at Permian
Residential Care Center in Andrews. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at
Calvary Baptist Church. David King of Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in
Andrews North Cemetery.
Pete was born August 22, 1924 in Wilbarger County, Texas. He served in the US
Army during World war II from 1944 until 1953. He married Margoary Gambrell June
24, 1950 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. They moved to Andrews County in 1954 from
Seminole. He was a Water Flood Plant Operator for Exxon when he retired. He was
an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. and he loved to play
cards.
Pete is Survived by: His Wife - Margoary Roberts of Andrews; Two Daughters -
Darlene Roberts of Plano, and Denise Pogue and husband Kevin of Odessa; One
Brother - S.D. "Speck" Roberts of Andrews; One Sister - Sue Brock of Andrews;
Four Grandchildren; Melanie Casey and Husband Eric of Plano; Shane Grimm and
Wife Crystal of Plano; Desirae Sias and husband Manuel of Snyder; and Kristie
Oglesby of Odessa Four Great-Grandchildren - Kathrine Sias, Jackson and Ryleigh
Casey and Noah Shane Grimm.
JANIE ROBERTSON

Janie Robertson, 73 of Andrews passed away Friday, February 16, 2007 in
Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews. She was born on December 21, 1933 in
Nacogdoches, Texas. She was a registered nurse and worked in a doctors office in
Andrews for many years before retirement. No services are planned at this time.
Survivors include; sons John Robertson, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Phillip
Robertson of Midland, daughter; Karen Reed of Denver City, Texas; brothers, John
C. Norton of Silsbee, Texas, Floyd Eugene Norton of Sweeney, Texas; sisters,
Emily Neff of Houston, Texas and Mary Ann Brazeale of Angleton, Texas; six
grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
TRINIDAD RODRIGUEZ
April 15, 2006
Trinidad Rodriguez, 90, of Andrews passed away late Saturday at his home in
Andrews.
A Rosary will be 7:00 PM Monday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services
will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews.
Father Bernard Gully will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery.
Mr. Rodriguez was born February 15, 1916 in Guerrero, Mexico. He married Juana
Garcia on Otober 3, 1968. They moved to Andrews in April 1981 from Seguin,
Texas. He was a Rancher. He loved to ride horses and rope and all thing envolved
in Ranching. He also loved a house full of family, and he was particularly fond
of the Nurses at Permian Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by;
his wife Juana Rodriguez in 1999, and a daughter, Graciela Rodriguez in 2000.
He is survived by: 8 Sons - Jaun Rodriguez of Andrews; Trinidad Rodriguez of
Houston, Rafael Rodriguez of Mexico; Jesus Rodriguez of Andrews; Migel Rodriguez
of Houston; Humberto Rodriguez of Seguin, Texas; Genaro Rodriguez of Andrews;
and Jose Luis Rodriguez of Odessa; 5 Daughters - Martha Salas of Saguin; Juanita
Iracheta of Mexcio; Amelia Galaviz of Andrews; Guadalupe Quintanilla of San
Antonio; and Argentina Rodriguez of Mexcio; One Brother - Guadalupe Rodriguez of
Mexico; 5 Sisters - Amada Diaz of Mexico; Maria Riojas of Dallas; Maria
Guadalupe Vega of Mexico; Ofilia Almance of San Antonio; and Mary Anna Valdez of
La Pride, Texas; 61 Grandchildren 95 Great-Grandchildren and 8
Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services for L.F. "Doc" Rogers, 74, of Veribest will be 2:PM Sunday,
February 5, 2006 at McNett Chapel in Andrews with Rev. Bob Zap of Andrews
officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the
direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
He passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Robert Lee Care Center in
Robert Lee, Texas.
He was born on November 4, 1931 in Sweetwater, Texas. He moved to Andrews in
1960 from Muleshoe, Texas. He married Jackie Marcell on October 18, 1983 in
Loveington, New Mexico. He owned and operated A-1 Video & TV Repair in Andrews.
He moved to Veribest in 1990 from Andrews. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife: Jackie Rogers of Veribest; 1 son: Doug Rogers and
his wife Vikki, of Laredo; 2 stepsons: Frank Rhea And Michael Rhea and his wife
Sophie all of Odessa; 1 stepdaughter: Betty Rhea of Odessa; 1 sister: Louwayne
McQuirk and her husband Brent of Hermleigh; 6 G randsons - Wayne Rogers and his
wife Nicole, Aaron Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Todd Allison and wife Kristy, Travis
Allison, Michael Rhea and wife Sarah; 4 - Great Granddaughters - Reagan Rogers,
Kylie, Krista and Kamry Allison.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, Saturday from 7:00 PM until
8:30 PM.
WILLIAM 'BILL' BRUCE ROLLINS

Memorial services for William "Bill" Bruce Rollins, 55, of
Andrews will be 7:00 PM Saturday, December 23, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home
Chapel in Andrews with Rev. James Beard, Pastor of McKinney Acres Baptist Church
in Andrews, officiating. Cremation is under the direction of McNett Funeral
Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren: Jade, Eden, Colten, Cooper, Mollye,
Jamie, Canon, and Haylee.
He passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at University Medical Center in
Lubbock.
He was born on July 30, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas to George Clarence Rollins and
Betty Jo Rollins. He graduated from Haysville High School in Kansas in 1969. He
served in the US Army Rangers during the Vietnam War and was an expert marksman.
He married Tonya Marie Neal on November 1, 1999 in Andrews. He had attended
technical schools, where he learned electrical, refrigeration, and general
maintenance. He was plant coordinator at Permian Regional Medical Center and
Permian Residential Care Center and has worked there for 19 years. He was a
member of the Andrews Bass Club and was Presbyterian. He was preceded in death
by his father in 2003; and sister: Ruth Ann Trimpe in 2005.
He is survived by his wife: Tonya Rollins of Andrews; mother: Betty Jo Rollins
of Haysville, Kansas; 2 daughters: Shannon Hall and husband Chris of Midland and
Randi Jo Rollins of Midland; 2 stepdaughters: Jairen and Jezzy Butler of
Andrews; 1 stepson: Ryan Butler of Midland; 2 brothers: Robert "Bob" Rollins of
Wichita, Kansas and Paul Rollins of Mobile, Alabama; 2 sisters: Sharron McPhail
of Wellington, Kansas and Norma Sturgon of Wichita, Kansas; and 8 grandchildren.

MARIA DE LOS ANGELES MEZA RUIZ

Rosary services for Maria De Los Angeles Meza Ruiz, 71, of Andrews will be 7:00
PM Friday, May 12, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Funeral
services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic
Church in Andrews with Rev. Bernard Gully, Pastor, officiating. Burial will
follow in the Andrews North Cemetery.
She entered into eternal life on her 51st wedding anniversary on Wednesday, May
10, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
She was born January 1, 1935 in Villa Matamoros, Mexico to Lucio Esparza Meza
and Belen Torres Meza. She married Willebaldo Monarez Ruiz on May 10, 1955 in
Villa Matamoros, Mexico. She worked with her husband on the farm for 23 years.
They moved to Seminole in 1964, and then to Lamesa, and moved to Andrews in
1971. She worked for Kirby West for 8 years. She was a member of Our Lady of
Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, where she was very involved in the church
choir and ministry and helped visit the sick. She was preceded in death by her
parents; 3 brothers: Lucio, Isidro, and Remedios Meza; and her son: Willie Ruiz.
She is survived by her husband: Willebaldo Ruiz of Andrews; 6 sons: Ben Ruiz and
wife Linda of Andrews, Freddy Ruiz of Andrews, Javier Ruiz of Andrews, and
Ricardo Ruiz of Andrews, Willie M. Ruiz and wife Leticia of San Angelo, and
Leopoldo Ruiz and wife Linda of Odessa; 2 sisters: Margarita Reyes of Carlsbad,
New Mexico and Geneveva Meza of Odessa; 19 grandchildren; and 1 great
grandchild.
Memorials may be sent to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or the American
Diabetes Foundation.
PAT L. RUSHING
January 27, 2006
Funeral services for Pat L. Rushing, 78, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM Monday,
January 30, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Phil J.
Marroquin, Pastor of Apostolic Worship Center in Andrews, officiating. Burial
will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery.
He passed away on Friday, January 27, 2006 at Alliance Hospital in Odessa.
He was born August 14, 1927 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Robert E. Rushing and Sudie
Sanders Rushing. He studied engineering at the University of Texas in Austin. He
married Jean Rushing on June 15, 1951 in Raymondville, Texas. He served in the
U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Andrews in 1951 from Monahans.
He worked for Exxon from 1952-1985. He was a past member of the National Rifle
Association and was a member of the Exxon Annuitant Club in Andrews. He was a
full faith Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
He is survived by his wife: Jean Rushing of Andrews; 2 sons: Rick Rushing of
Andrews and Mark Rushing of Pecos; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
