Marian Dallas, 75, of Andrews passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Terrace
West Nursing home in Midland.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October, 19, 2006 at McNett Funeral
Home Chapel. John Snider pastor of Greenwood Church of Christ will officiate.
Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery.
Marian was born July 1, 1931 in Lark, Texas. She married George Dallas June 26,
1968 in Andrews, Texas. She loved to visit people and visit the Andrews Seniors
Center. She also loved her sons and grandchildren. Marian was an active member
of the Andrews Church of Christ and she loved her church.
She is survived by two sons; Terry Miles and his wife Linda and Steve Miles all
of Midland, daughter-in-law; Mary Dallas of Dallas, Texas, three brothers;
Vernon Southard of Andrews, J.M. Southard of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Luther
Southard of Dallas, three sisters; Juanita Leas of Dallas, Essie Ragsdale of
Hobbs, NM, Dorothy Howell of Seattle, Washington, six grandchildren and twelve
great-grandchildren.

Myria H. Damron, 72, of Andrews passed away Friday September 1, 2006 at Midland
Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in
Andrews. Rev. Bryan Johnson, Chaplin for Home Hospice in Andrews will officiate.
Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral
Home.
Mr. Damron was born November 17, 1933 in Jacksboro, Texas. he married Patsy
Dorman September 9, 1956 in Ardmore Oklahoma. They moved to Andrews in 1963 from
Bridgeport. Mr. Damron loved to fish, and work in his yard and he enjoyed
working on cars. He loved taking care of his wife and his family and his beloved
dog. He was preceded in death by: Parents - Dan and Callie Damron and a Sister -
Grace Gary in 1990.

Funeral
services for Jo Davis, 59, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at
the First Baptist Church in Andrews with Dr. Jeff Donnell, Pastor officiating.
Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery in Andrews.
She died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland.
She was born on March 6, 1946 in Longview, Texas. She graduated from Permian
High School In Odessa in 1964. She worked as a bookkeeper for Cummins CPA and
for Harper & Cavett CPA for 19 years. She was a bookkeeper with the Andrews
County News for the last 2 years. Jo was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Mother, Eugenia Hooper Owens, Abilene, Texas, daughters,
Annette Renfro, Andrews, Texas, Aimee Davis, Atlanta, Georgia, brother, David
Hooper, Austin, Texas, sisters, Estelle Munsell, Andrews, Texas, Janett Lisenbe,
Odessa, Texas, Elizabeth Caarter, Abilene, Texas, Mary Linda Wood, Austin, Texas
and three grandchildren, Hanna Nicole, Hattie Lee and Hagan Reed, all of
Andrews.

Kathy Sue Dean, 66, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Medical
Center Hospital in Odessa.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 27, 2006 at McKinney Acres
Baptist Church in Andrews. Rev. James Beard will officiate. Burial will be in
Andrews West Cemetery.
Kathy was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 19, 1940, to Kenneth Roy and
Kathryn Clementine Neher. She has been a long time resident of Andrews and
graduated from Andrews High School in 1958. She married Edward G. Dean in 1970
in Andrews and he preceded her in death in 1989. She was a Homemaker and a
member of McKinney Acers Baptist Church. She loved to visit the lake, and play
games and her favorite was "Crazy 8's". She was also a big fan of NASCAR and
enjoyed the races every Sunday. Kathy was a very independent person and she
enjoyed helping people.
She is survived by: Three Sons- Kenneth Dragoo of Andrews; Edward G. Dean, Jr.
of Colorado; and Ralph Gordon Dean of Minnesota; Four Daughters- Mary Elizabeth
McKellop of Bedford, Texas; Jennifer Nelmes of Andrews; Debbie Kay Fleming of
Andrews; and Libby Mae Chambers of Andrews. Four Brothers- Ted Neher of
Oklahoma; Tommy Neher of Killeen, Texas; James Neher of Andrews; and Terry Neher
of Florida; and One Sister- Jeri Jones of South Lake Tahoe, California; 17
Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.

Deason, 72, of Andrews passed away in the VA Medical Center in Big Spring, Texas
Wednesday, March 23, 2005.
Graveside services will be Monday, March 28, 2005 in the Andrews Old Cemetery.
Richard Cooper will officiate.
Mr. Deason was born June 15, 1932 in Austin, Texas. He moved to Andrews in 1963.
He married Verna Cargill on October 17, 1980 in Lovington, NM. She preceded him
in death, December 23, 2003. He was a Driller for many years. He was a member of
the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Moose Lodge and the VFW. He liked to Fish and
Hunt and he loved to play Dominos.
Survivors include: Daughter-Debbie Brooks of Kermit; Two Step-Sons- Russell
Holems of Burnet and Rodney Holms of Andrews; Step-Daughter- Patricia Reece of
Ingram, Texas. Five Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.

John Wayne Duffield, 53, formerly of Andrews passed away Monday November 6, 2006
at South West Regional Hospital in Lubbock.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the Andrews Noth Cemetery under
the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Rev. Ted M. Short will officiate.
John was born in Seagraves, Texas to Johnnie Clinton and Emma Lea (Maggard)
Duffield on February 11, 1953. John was a bachelor, he worked for Smith Motor
Company of Andrews for many years as a mechanic. He loved riding his motor
cycle, fishing with his friends on the gulf coast and bowling.
He is survived by: One Sister - Carolyn and husband Gary Duncan of Tuskahoma,
Oklahoma; Three Nieces - Rita and James Puckett, Ronda Fleming and Latricia and
Jeffrey Hicks; Three Nephews - Daren and Leona Duncan; Gary and Hope Duncan; and
Kyle and Tammy Rowe.

Funeral services for John A. Duffy, Sr., 80, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM
Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Northcrest Baptist Church in Andrews with Rev.
Harvey Enriquez, Pastor, of Andrews and Rev. Ron Ragland of Hobbs, New Mexico
officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery.
He passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital in
Odessa.
He was born on July 5, 1926 in Miles, Texas to Pat Duffy and Addie Rose Gotcher
Duffy. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He married Audra Lavern
Duffy on February 3, 1948 in Andrews and they lived in Andrews from 1947-1948.
He worked as a drilling superintendent for Superior Oil Company for 40 years,
which took them all over the country. They moved back to Andrews from the
Phillipines in 1976. He loved to play golf and was a member of the Andrews
Country Club. He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church. He was preceded in
death by his parents; and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife: Lavern Duffy of Andrews; 1 son: John Duffy, Jr. and
wife Mary Jane of Odessa; 1 brother: Darrell Duffy of Cameron, Louisiana; 1
sister: Faye Southern of Andrews; 1 granddaughter: Carrie O'Neil and husband
Cory of Flowermound, Oregon; and 2 great grandchildren: Jordynn and Logan O'Neil
of Flowermound, Oregon.
