PATSY HEATH NICHOLSON
February 23, 2006

Funeral services for Patsy Jean Nicholson, 74, of Savannah, Georgia will be 4:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews, Texas with Rev. William Goree of Midland officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery.
She passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Savannah Cottage in Savannah, Georgia.
She was born on May 17, 1931 in Seminole, Texas to Henry Matthew Heath and Cora Cotten Heath. She was raised in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School in 1948. She received her Bachelor's of Business Administration from from Texas Tech University and her Masters in Guidance Couseling from the University of New Mexico. She married Bob Wright in 1951 in Andrews, and he preceded her in death in 1969. She moved from Garland, Texas to Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was a Guidance Counselor for Alamogordo, New Mexico High School from 1964-1985. She married Nick Nicholson in 1974 in Alamogordo, and he preceded her in death in 1996. She moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1996. She was a member of the Alamogordo Eastern Star and a Baptist. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her 2 daughters: Linda Wright of Tybee Island, Georgia and Yvonne Wagner of Evansville, Indiana; 3 sisters: Linda Evans and Fern Goree of Midland, and Freida Smith of Dallas; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

LOLA HARDIN NIX
November 1st, 2004

Funeral services for Lola Hardin Nix, 87, formerly of Andrews, will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 5, 2004 at the First Baptist Chapel in Andrews with Dr. H.A. Hanks of Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 4, 2004 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
She died Monday, November 1, 2004 at Mariner Healthcare of Cypress Wood in Houston.
She was born September 9, 1917 in Mitchell County, Texas to Harley Dallas Mearse and Maude Richardson Mearse. She married Odis Hardin on July 9, 1937 in Loraine and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1962. She moved to Andrews in 1943 from Loraine. She married Dennis Nix on November 11, 1964 in Andrews, and he preceded her in death on July 11, 1989. She moved to Wichita Falls in 1998. While in Andrews, she had served on the Andrews Senior Citizen Center Board and had managed several restaurants in Andrews. She was a member at First Baptist Church in Andrews, where she was very active in the church and in the Victory Singers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter: Janette Johnson on October 4, 2004.
She is survived by her daughter: Sandi Whitworth of Houston; sister: Gwindola Roberts of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 2 step-daughters: Coza Nix Bostick of Lehigh Acres, Florida and Millie McDonald of Wimberley; step-son: Drexell Nix of Lehigh Acres, Florida; 14 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.

O.E. "SHORTY" NICHOLS
October 20th, 2004

O.E. "Shorty" Nichols, Sr. 78, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at his residence.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, at the Church of God in Andrews. Rev. Jason Connor will officiate. Burial will be in the Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Shorty was Born December 7, 1925 in Brownwood, Texas. He moved to Andrews in 1942 from Alvin, Texas. He served in the US Army during World War II.
He married Billie Jean Tannahill January 17, 1961 in Andrews. He was a Roughneck for many years working for Holliday Drilling of Midland, and Carl B. King of Andrews.
He was prededed in death by his wife Billie Jean, June 4, 1998.
He is survived by: One Son - Osker E. Nichols, Jr. of Andrews; Three Daughters - Nancy Stokes of Sea Drift, Texas and Betty Bellow of Stephenville, Texas; Sharon Rose Sharp of Placiaos, Texas 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.

FORREST W. NOBLE
December 7, 2005

Funeral services for Forrest W. Noble, 88, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2005 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Rodney Noble of Andrews and Elder Gail Faries of Lubbock officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery.

Forrest passed on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
He was born January 6, 1917 in Eastland County, Texas to Jess William Noble and Jennie Stella Lee Noble. He was raised in Eastland County and graduated from Cisco High School. He married Margaret Oleta Turknett on April 16, 1937 in Cisco. He served in the Civil Service during WWII and moved to Andrews in 1946 from Abilene. Forrest and Oleta owned and operated Noble Oldsmobile in Andrews from 1946-1990, and he believed in driving a fine automobile. They received the highest customer satisifaction index award of 100% from Oldsmobile and was awarded the Oldsmobile Elite Dealer for the entire nation. Forrest was a charter member for the Andrews Downtown Lion's Club and Andrews Rotary Club; and served as Andrews City Councilman from 1948-1952. He loved his pecan orchard and was a member and deacon of the Andrews Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Oleta Noble of Andrews; 2 sons: Rodney Noble and wife Jane of Andrews, Bradley Noble of Houston; 1 daughter: Kathleen Brewer and husband Richard of Midland; 1 sister: Mary Louise Key of Longview; 6 grandchildren: Peter Brewer and wife Nanette of Memphis, TN, Lori West and husband David of San Antonio, Kari Atchley and husband Randi of Midland, Marla Brewer of Dallas, Carmen Castleberry and husband Bryan of Bertram, April Aglipay and husband Greg of Allen; and 11 great grandchildren: Matthew Brewer, Jody and Tyler West, Avery and Kirsten Atchley, Amy Beth, Taylor and Connor Castleberry, Sarah Ashlee, Zoe Mae, and Eli Aglipay.

OLETA NOBLE
October 26, 2006

Funeral services for Oleta Noble, 87, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Rodney Noble, Son, and Elder Gail Faries of Lubbock, officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at McNett Funeral Home on Friday, October 27, 2006 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
She passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Saddleridge Lodge Assisted Living in Midland.
She was born July 27, 1919 in Cisco to Jefferson Franklin Turknett and Mary Ann Page Turknett. She graduated from Cisco High School and married Forrest Weldon Noble on April 16, 1937 in Cisco. They moved to Andrews in 1946 from Abilene. Forrest and Oleta owned and operated Noble Oldsmobile in Andrews from 1946-1990, and they believed in driving a fine automobile. They received the highest customer satisifaction index award of 100% from Oldsmobile and was awarded the Oldsmobile Elite Dealer for the entire nation. Forrest preceded her in death on December 7, 2005. She was a past member of Andrews County Local Charities and Andrews Home Demonstration Club. She was a member of the Andrews Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her 1 daughter: Kathleen Brewer and husband Richard of Midland; 2 sons: Rodney Noble and wife Jane of Andrews and Bradley Noble of Houston; 1 sister: Odessa Garrett of Lubbock; 1 brother: Raymond Turknett of Stephenville; 6 grandchildren: Peter Brewer and wife Nanette of Memphis, TN, Lori West and husband David of San Antonio, Kari Atchley and husband Randi of Midland, Marla Pemmaraju and husband Sankar of Colleyville, Carmen Castleberry and husband Bryan of Lampasas, April Aglipay and husband Greg of Allen; and 11 great grandchildren: Matthew Brewer, Jody and Tyler West, Avery and Kirsten Atchley, Amy Beth, Taylor and Connor Castleberry, Sarah Ashlee, Zoe Mae, and Eli Aglipay.
