I am searching for the Penrod family that was farming between 1915 to 1920 in Bowman, across from the One Room School House. One thing I am looking for is if in fact there was a homestead or were they just farming the land.

I am interested in having someone do some courthouse record checking for me. I understand that you do not live in Archer Co. but I am hopeing you may be able to put me in contact with someone who does.
I have relatives that lived in Archer City and Archer County for a period of their lives. Some may have been introuble and may have a police record and have been through the courts of Archer and there are some that I am trying to find that have property and probate and wills on file.
Can anyone you know of be able to help me.
Thanks in advance for your help

I'm trying to find information on J A Medlen of Dundee

We have a newspaper (prob Wichita Falls) article, dated Feb. 8, 1931, about my brother-in-law, O W McCurdy. It states that he is the "great grandson of J.A. Medlen of Dundee, TX." The only Medlen I've been able to connect with Dundee is a headstone in the Dundee Cemetery:

Mary Elizabeth Barham Medlen, b. Apr. 2, 1862 d. Jan. 23, 1946. (per findagrave.com)

J. A. appears to be a female and may have been born abt 1860. Unknown if Medlen is given or married name.
