The Paris Daily Enterprise, Dated: Thursday, Dec. 14/1944

Staff Sgt. Cecil Clay Risen, 23, fprmerly of Paris but now of Sharpsburg, Ky., who was killed in action in France on Sepy. 26th a memorial service will be held at 3 PMSunday at the Paris Christian Church. Rev. Rodes Thompson will be in charge.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ledford Stegall and Miss Waverline Risen, both of Paris; three brothers, John, William Robert, and Franklin D. Risen, Sharpsburg.

He entered service on September, 1940 and had been overseas since October, 1941.
