This indenture made and entered into the 14th day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Eight between B. F. Lee of the one part, and Mrs. L. A. Parks of the other part, Witnesseth: That the party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and seventy two & 80/100 Dollars in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, sold, and conveyed unto the said Mrs. L. A. Parks her heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land situate, lying, and being in the County of Haralson, as follows, Lots Nos 665, 664 Except seven and one half acres in South East Corner 666 Except ten acres off of the South side thereof all in the 20th District and third Section of said County containing in the aggregate one hundred and two and one half acres more or less which said tract or parcel of land the said will well and truly warrant and defered from the claim of all persons whatsoever, unto the said Mrs. L. A. Parks her heirs and assigns, forever in fee simple. In testimony whereof, the said B. F. Lee hath hereunto set his hand and seal, the day and year above written. This mortgage deed and note which was given to secure a debt of the sum mentioned within have been fully paid off and discharged at The Clerk of the Superior Court of Haralson County is authorized & requested to cancel the same on the records of Haralson Superior Court. This the 1st day of Dec 1899.
