RAMOS Funeral services for Augustine C. Ramos, 79, of Stanton have been set for Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Felix Cubelo officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be recited Friday, September 29, 2006. Augustine C. Ramos was born October 26, 1926 in Gonzales, Texas. He passed away September 28, 2006 in Odessa, Texas. He worked for the Martin County Road and Bridge Department and also for Rustys Oil Field Service for 18 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed by his family and all of those who knew him. He was a very active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. where he was a Knight of Columbus, and a Cursillista. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfredo and Guadalupe Ramos. Three brothers Merejildo Cano Ramos Sr., Jose Ramos and Guadalupe Ramos. Two sisters, Theodora Fabila and Maria Ramos. Survivors include his wife Josefa Ramos of Stanton, Texas; two sons, Thomas Ramos of San Antonio, Texas, Auggie Ramos of Stanton, Texas; two daughters Teri Marquez of Stanton, Texas, Jeanne Rodriguez of Midland, Texas; three brothers Adolfo Ramos of Lubbock, Alfredo Ramos and Frank Ramos both of Plains, Texas; five sister Delfina Ortiz of Del Rio, Texas, Helen Monteil, Lydia Mendez, Maggie Castro, and Suzanna Ochoa all of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Auggie Ramos, Eric Ramos, Sammy Rodriguez Jr., Jason Rodriguez Sr., Sammy Rodriguez Sr. and Manuel Marquez, Jerry Baeza, and Rusty Allred. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Rodriguez Jr., Jordan Rodriguez, Alijay Rodriguez, Elisandro Hernandez, Nathaniel Lopez, Maximus Lopez.
