Romine, Jacky BIG SPRING -- Jacky Romine, 68, of Big Spring, died Sunday, Jan. 2 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6 at the 14th and Main Church of Christ in Big Spring with Larry Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be at their home, 704 Boykin Rd. in Big Spring. He was born Dec. 3, 1936 to John and Myrtle Romine in Ada, Okla., and attended Knott High School. He worked at Cosden for seven years and was a farmer. He was a member of the Knott Church of Christ. He had served on the FSA (ASCS) County Committee, the Grady School board, the Martin County Fresh Water District and was a member of the Tarzan Farmers Co-op Gin board. He married Donna Mitchell Jan. 20, 1957 in Big Spring. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife; a son, Jacky Romine of Lenorah; a daughter, Debbie Forester of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; one step-grandson; three brothers, Herschel Romine of Gravette, Ark., Tom Romine of Lenorah and Gary Romine of Big Spring; and several nieces and nephews.
