STANTON -- Imogene Turner, 86, of Houston, formerly of Stanton, died Saturday,
April 29 at her residence. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 2 at the
Downtown Church of Christ in Stanton. Interment will follow at Evergreen
Cemetery.

She was born April 20, 1920, in Snyder and married Alton Turner Dec. 29, 1934
in Midland. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Downtown Church
of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Williams of Houston and Debbie Locke
of San Antonio, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cordelia Morgan, five
brothers, four sisters and one son.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.
