An accused drug trafficker who escaped from the Martin County Jail is still
the object of a continuing search.

26-year-old Casey Daniel Martin walked away from a work detail about 10:30
Thursday morning.

Martin was being held for federal marshals on multiple charges of possession
and trafficking in drugs and weapons and stolen property possession.

Lawmen believe he is in the Midland area, but Martin is known to have
connections in the state of Indiana.

A $5,000 reward is offered for information leading to his arrest.
