Martin Co., Texas - News: Martin County Fugitive Captured ========================================================= Submitted to the Martin County, TXGenWeb by: Michelle White ========================================================= With the help of several law enforcement agencies, a Martin County fugitive is back in custody. United States Marshals, on tips during the investigation, have captured 26- year-old Casey Daniel Martin in Irving, near Dallas. Martin had escaped from a work detail in Stanton on June 15th, and has been on the run until Thursday. Marshals and Texas Rangers and the Martin County deputies teamed up to spot Martin at a motel. Martin will be returned to Midland to face charges for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, along with other charges and additional charges in connection with his escape.
