This cemetery is located in the far northeast corner of Runnels County, Texas,
about one fifth mile from Content Church. The following records were compiled
by Frank D. Jenkins on March 13, 1974.

Content Cemetery

Content - off of FM382 16 mi. NE of Winters

Opened 1883 with burial of a cowboy, James Hanna. Confederate veteran John A. Hanna, of Co. A, 8th regt., Texas Cavalry, Army of Tennessee, was buried here 1889. Their sister Amanda, her husband, John Hardegree, and their children, and three of John A. Hanna's infant grandchildren also rest here.
