Coy Riddle

WINTERS (RNS) - Coy R. Riddle, 58, of Winters, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in North Runnels Hospital following a lengthy illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Winters Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

Fred Thomas, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.

Born Jan. 17, 1922, in Runnels County near Benoit, he had lived in the Winters area most of his live. He married Estell Hill Sept. 26, 1942, in Ballinger. He was a  member of the First Baptist Church . He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was an employee of the National Lead Co. - Baird Division for nearly 25 years.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Doyle and Arnold (snip), J. C. (snip), and R. C.(snip); three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Crow(snip), Mrs. Jimmy Bleckshear(snip), and Mrs. Roy Gray(snip); two brothers, Dalton and Anderson, both of Abilene; a sister, Cecil Mayfield of Robert Lee; and fifteen grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Coy Hord, Sherman Hord, Elwood Wadem, Billy Joe Robinson, Calvin Holloway, Ray Gray, Wilma Davis and Carson Easterly.
