Paradise Lost A Tribute to the heroes of Pearl Harbor
McDaniel, Howard Cecil
Born on the family farm in Runnels County April 8, 1924.  Parents were David Dewey McDaniel and Polly Elizabeth (Morrison) McDaniel.  Graduated from Crews High School.  Was attending Sul Ross College when he enlisted.

Enlisted at Fort D.A. Russell on December 10, 1942.  Discharged at Separation Center at Camp Fannin Texas February 26, 1946 as a Private First Class.
Trained at numerous Camps starting with Fort Bliss.  He received his Medical Technician training at Fitzsimmons General Hospital in Colorado .
He was stationed at the 49th STA Hospital in England when the war ended.  Received EAME, GCM, and Victory Medals.
