Located off of Highway 78; turn at Brown Road to Washington-Wilkes County Animal Shelter; follow road to the shelter then turn left into driveway/road (unpaved); cemetery on left – surrounded by dry laid rock wall. Penelope Terrell was the wife of Peter Buford Terrell (1784 VA – 1821 GA), ancestors of Anne Barrett Chamlee thru her mother, Juanita Terrell Barrett (1911-2002). Penelope’s mother was Judith (Waddey) Jones. |
