Thomas Ogletree To Nicholas P. Gunn Pike Co 1824
Georgia Pike County Register the 31st of August 1824
This indenture made the sixth day of August in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four and in the forty seventh year of Independence of the United States of America between Thomas Ogletree of the county of Pike of the one part and Nicholas P. Gunn of the county of Pike of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Thomas Ogletree for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents that receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said Nicholas P. Gunn his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and eight acres situate lying and being in the Tenth District formerly Monroe but now Pike County in said state it being taken in the north side of a certain tract or lot of land known in the plan of said district by lot No. Forty Five (45)
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract or parcel pf land being belonging or in anywise appertaining with the remainder and remainder reversion and unreversions and issues and proffits thereof to their only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Nicholas P. Gunn his heirs executor administrators and assigns in fee simple and the said Thomas Ogletree his heirs executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Nicholas P. Gum his heirs executors administrators and assigns against the said Thomas Ogletree his heirs executors and administrators and all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents In witness whereof the said Thomas Ogletree hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written.
