Wilkes County  Know all men by these presents that I Absalom Ogletree of the county of Wilkes and State above said hath bargained conveyed and sold to one mule Bay mare two cows and two yearlings seven head of hogs two Beds furniture and stead -------- and pots and other articles of ---------furniture twenty five barrels of corn and eight Hundred pounds of Tobacco for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty three dollars the receipt there of is hereby acknowledged unto the said John Ogletree his heirs and assigns unto ------of above articles. I will warrant and defend against the claim or claims of my self my heirs executors or assigns or any other person or persons whatsoever claiming the same In witness where of I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal this 4th day of December 1804
